See the contrasting Kenyan eco-systems of Masai Mara in the southwest with its wide-open savannah grassland and rolling hills, Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley (Central Kenya), and home to the white rhino and thousands of flamingoes in Amboseli in the south.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival, we will pick you up at the airport or your hotel, then proceed to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley. We drive past Longonot and Suswa, then on to the western walls, with a stopover at Narok for re-fueling. We arrive in the Mara for lunch, and after lunch and refreshments, we proceed to a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2: Masai Mara Extensive Safari Drive
Spend a whole day game viewing in this jewel of a reserve in Kenya. Masai Mara National Reserve is rich in wildlife and exotic birds. Today, you will explore the savannah plains to catch up with the grazers. Elephants, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, gazelle, buffalos, hyenas, jackals, and many more will be seen during your game drives. Big cats like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and wild cats are also found here and will be seen in the fields hunting together with the scavengers. Your game viewing shall also cover areas around the Mara River for giant Nile crocodile and hippo viewing. Have your packed lunch by the Mara River while enjoying your game viewing. This is an all-year-round arena for wildlife viewing. Your dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara Village Visit and Lake Nakuru National Park
Wake up very early, have breakfast, and get ready for the optional cultural tour of the Masai village (this is an optional activity paid for directly at the village). Return to the camp for check out, then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park by road. Lunch will be served en route. You will arrive in Nakuru in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at lodge.
Day 4: Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
Have an early breakfast, then proceed for an adventure in Lake Nakuru National Park. This park has over 350 bird species, including the greater and lesser flamingo, plover, marabou stork, white pelican, and egret. The wildlife includes the white and black rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, lion, zebra, antelope, buffalo, and other wild animals. Lunch will be served en route to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Amboseli in time for dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, proceed for the adventure of viewing the animals in the park. Enjoy seeing unique animals in this scenic park, such as cheetahs, lions, and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi
On your last day, wake up very early to prepare for the morning game drive inside Amboseli National Park. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a full breakfast, then depart for Nairobi by road. Lunch will be served en route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
