Explore Kenya’s most famous national reserve for 2 nights/3 days. The Masai Mara National Reserve is home to the Big Five, big cats, and the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. This tour departs daily from Nairobi city and is the perfect classic budget camping safari, offered all year round for groups and private tours.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a city hotel, a company representative will meet you. After a short safari briefing, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. You will have lunch en route (or at Lenchada camp, depending on the arrival time). At 4:00pm, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be the hotel.
Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve
You will have a full day in the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives starting at 6:30am and 4:00pm, respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti, and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals and your overnight stay are at hotel.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, proceed to an optional Masai village visit. Later, we will proceed back to Nairobi. We will arrive late in the afternoon and take you to the airport or your preferred hotel. The drop off marks the end of the 3-day safari.
